Sunday was beautiful and much nicer with no wind. We spent the day exploring Brooklyn. We started off in Park Slope, a beautiful neighborhood full of incredible architecture and trees! I couldn’t believe all the Brownstones. Lots of people were having “Stoop Sales” (that’s like a garage sale but they don’t have garages). We walked through Prospect Park and saw 585 acres of trees turning colors! We walked back through the neighborhood boutiques to the subway to catch a ride to DUMBO (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass). We took in the sight of the New York Skyline, then walked across Brooklyn Bridge to Manhattan. We ended the tour with a pretzel & hot dog from a street cart and sat by a fountain.
