Why?
After 14 years of LA, the things we didn't like about living here finally wore us down and we decided to move away. Our first choice was Portland, Oregon. After months of interviewing, neither of us could secure a job. We turned our sights to the next city on the list, New York. We lined up jobs and moved at the end of March 2008.

- be with our friends and close to our sisters
- advance our careers in a market we understand
- enjoy a low cost of living so we can save & travel

Details
Whyte Wizard came and detailed our cars one last time today. We'll be selling our GTI and it needed a bath. What I didn't know about was the old guy 3 doors down was sandblasting his house. Of all the days... not only was it deafening from 8am-2pm, but now our cars are covered in a fine powder. Between that and the construction two doors down on the main drag of Culver Blvd, it was not a fun day. But later in the afternoon I was able to sell our backyard cabana to a Craigslister. So that's out of the way.
