543 miles for today. In Oklahoma there is obviously a large Indian population with roadside casinos and places to buy Indian art. The landscape is much flatter and there are less trees and we are passing more lakes and streams. A switch happened between eastern and western Oklahoma too; trees became plains, "Hardy's" became "Carl's Jr", and premium gas dropped from 93 to 91 octane. New Mexico has had the most beautiful open colorful skies by far of the entire trip. We stayed at a B&B and had dinner with friends tonight.
