So we're doing a lot of stuff you do when you're brain-dead, physically exhausted, and camping out in a house full of nothing waiting for your stuff to arrive on the truck from New York.
A good friend made us dinner Friday night in Simi Valley. We got all 3000 miles of bugs washed off the car at the Sunset Carwash. Speaking of bugs, we had the house sprayed for silverfish. And speaking of cars, we test drove cars at the most fabulous Lexus dealer I've ever seen. It's in a building in Santa Monica dating back to 1928 and looks like a Spanish Mission. Check out these photos!!
We went to Joxer Daly's in Culver City for drinks with a group of friends. We hung out on 3rd Street Promenade in fabulous weather. And we've been catching up on our movies; "Hancock" (feh) and "Wanted" (better). We hit Maison du Pain and remembered they really do have fabulous pastries here; you just have to know where to get them.
